Christmas prezzies

This year’s Christmas presents consisted of mostly things for my C&G in Creative Embroidery. I got an excellent haul of machine embroidery threads, a cutting board, Stitch Magic, Brusho and metallic acrylic paints. It’s only the second week in January and already all have come in useful and been used.

Possibly the most fun I’ve had using them is setting up the photo above. I was balancing tall towers of paint and thread on the floor behind the door, as it was the best flat surface and opposite the light sources. All a great idea until my other half tripped the ring main with his garage heater and came upstairs to explain what had happened. He opened the door and it all came tumbling down. All the more fun to be had building it all back up again I guess.
